The restore process is quite easy:
Backups which were created with
can be restored at the start of
1) Fill in the complete connect information (please see picture below).
2) You can leave Datenbank, Name empty.
3) Press the button Datenbank, Wiederherstellen.
4) AFTER: Field Datenbank: Select the name of the database to restore.
5) Field Sicherung: Select the latest available backup.
6) Press the button Datensicherung wiederherstellen.
7) READY!

As already said before:
Backups must be located in:

TAXPOOL-DATAFOLDER/dms-backup/db/NameOfTheCompany/
TAXPOOL-DATAFOLDER: https://www.taxpool.net/HTML/datenhaltung.htm
Copy the the files in the above folder 1) then they are found in the restore-dialog (see picture in my last post).
